Tidewater Camellia Club

A HISTORY OF
COMMUNITY SERVICE

Frank Houser Var.
C. reticulata 'Frank Houser Variegated'

The Beginning

In 1955, Tidewater Camellia Club's first community service project furnished 5 Pink Dogwoods, 16 White Dogwoods, 12 Jasmine Vines, and 12 Wisterias to be planted at Greenfield Park by the Parks and Recreation Department.

Today, Tidewater Camellia Club is proud to support several community service activities that promote the propagation and preservation of the Camellia species as well as Tidewater's rich history of community service.
